HELPFUL TIPS ON HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT DUI SCHOOL FOR YOU
ATLANTA, GA - November 28, 2008 - If you have been convicted or arrested for a DUI in the State of Georgia, you will most likely be ordered to attend a 20-hour Risk Reduction class, otherwise known as DUI School. The class will be held at a local driving school that is privately owned but overseen and highly regulated by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
Here are a few things you should know and consider when choosing a school to attend. A State regulated DUI course must only cost a total of $287 and consist of two components, a short pre-class assessment and 20-hours of classroom instruction. Assessments are given prior to class and usually take about 30 minutes to complete. Here students must answer a series of questions regarding his or her involvement with drugs and alcohol. The results of the test will be discussed during an activity in class. Once the assessment is complete, you may then attend the 20-hour course which are usually held over four consecutive days.
