ASAM Level I Classes
Based upon the finding from your Alcohol and Drug evaluation, you may be required to attend a Substance Abuse Treatment Program conducted by a Department of Human Resources (DHR) certified treatment provider. North Metro Traffic School now offers these ASAM Level I counseling sessions on-site three days a week.

Georgia law requires that each session last a total of 3 hours.
These group sessions are refered to as ASAM Level I programs and run anywhere from 6 weeks to 52 weeks of treatment sessions depending on a client's compliance and progress within the program. Each weekly session consists of 3 hours of alcohol and drug education, life-skills and group therapy.
Written progress reports are also supplied to the appropriate court or probation office for each individual enrolled in the program. These reports will detail information regarding attendance, drug or alcohol screens, financial responsibility, timeliness and monitored attendance at AA/NA meetings if required.
All of the counseling sessions held at North Metro Traffic School are lead by an experienced DHR Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors from an experienced counseling services.
All of our counselors offer a true sliding scale regarding payments if necessary which can be determined by the Counselor in charge.
If you pay online, this receipt only confirms that a payment of $60 has been made for the INITIAL SESSION and that all additional payments will be made directly to the counselors in charge at the beginning of each and every session. In addition, you will be given all the necessary paperwork, contractrs, agreements and all other information needed for the class directly from the counseling center representative once you begin the program. Also, please print out and bring your receipt to the school to verify the initial payment has been made.
