Based upon the finding from your Alcohol and Drug evaluation and certain Georgia laws, you may be required to attend a  Substance Abuse Treatment Program conducted by a Department of Human Resources (DHR) certified treatment provider. North Metro Traffic School offers ASAM Level I counseling sessions on-site twice a week. Each sessio

Monday evenings (2 sessions) from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 until 9:00 p.m.

or

Tuesday evenings (2 sessions) from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and then 6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

Every ASAM Level I program is a group session and is held in one of our new counseling rooms. You may be required to take anywhere from 8 weeks to 52 weeks, depending on your specific situation. Georgia requires multiple offenders to attend a minimum of 17 weeks of classes. If for some reason you are not able to comply, the number of sessions you will need to attend could increase depending on a client's compliance and progress within the program. Each weekly session consists of 3 hours of alcohol and drug education, life-skills and group therapy.

The cost of each session is $60 and can be paid in Cash to the counselor running the session.

Written progress reports are also supplied to the appropriate court or probation office for each individual enrolled in the program. These reports will detail information regarding attendance, drug or alcohol screens, financial responsibility, timeliness and monitored attendance at AA/NA meetings if required.

All of the counseling sessions held at North Metro Traffic School are lead by an experienced and professional DHR Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors from an experienced counseling services.
