California Driver’s Ed Course

California requires all drivers under the age of 18 to complete a certified Driver’s Education course in order to obtain their Provisional License. If you fail to complete Driver’s Ed you’ll have to wait until you’re at least 18 years of age to take the official California driver’s exam. But don’t fret! California driver’s ed classes can be completed at one of many reputable, licensed centers across the state or online – let North Metro help you find a center close to you.

Online Driver's Ed For California Teens

Students must complete 30 hours of classroom instruction to get their driver’s ed certificate of completion. Thankfully, CA also allows centers to offer the driver’s ed course online so you may be able to complete your requirements from the comfort of your own home. In addition to the 30 classroom hours, students must also complete 6 hours of behind-the-wheel professional instruction which must be done at an official California Driver’s Ed center.
