Does an Interlock Device Work?

Developed to reduce the number of habitual violators and drunk driver’s, Ignition Interlock Devices are machines that can be attached to any vehicle to make them inoperable and unable to start unless the driver blows into a breathalyzer machine and registers that no alcohol is in his or her system.

Once, and if, the car is able to start, the operator will continually have to blow into the device in order to continue driving.   Ignition Interlock devices have proven to be one of the most reliable and best methods for stopping drunk drivers from making our roads less safe.
