Victim Impact Panels for Impaired Drivers

Panels for Impaired Drivers

Many years ago Mother Against Drunk Driving (MADD) created this program to demonstrate just how deadly driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol can be and how an individual's actions can affect so many other people around them.

Victim Impact Programs typically consist of panels of speakers that come together to share their stories with offenders that have recently been arrested for a variety of Alcohol and Drug related offenses.

Each invited guest spearker will talk to the audience about how a DUI and other offenses have impacted their life.  Typically a question and answer portion is held and can really help others by sharing or learning more about what it takes to turn your own life around.

Many offenders in Georgia are now required to attend a Victim Impact Panel to meet the conditions of their probation. Victim Impact Panels are held all over the United States and throughout Georgia.
